‘What a cutie’: Tennis champ Ash Barty shares precious baby update
Three-time grand slam champion Ash Barty has shared photos of her newborn baby on social media, sending fans and sporting heroes swooning.
The tennis champion welcomed baby, Hayden, in July this year after announcing her retirement in March.
The pictures, which also featured her husband Garry Kissick, were posted to Barty’s Instagram page and included comments from a number of sporting greats.

Retired cricket legend Matthew Hayden commented, “decent crop of hair on the youngster”, while former Australian swimmer, Gian Rooney said, “what a cutie”.
Many other Barty fans also shared their excitement about the new baby photos.
“My 80-year-old landlord doesn’t have Instagram, but he wanted to see your boy…. we both are having an awwwwww moment,” one person said.
Since retiring in March 2022, Barty and Kissick tied the knot in a secret tropical wedding, while she also released her autobiography and a children’s book series inspired by her niece.
