Spartans, Farmers remain unbeaten
The Seabury Hall and Molokai High School girls volleyball teams both remained undefeated after earning wins Friday night in Maui Interscholastic League Division II matches.
At the Erdman Athletic Center in Olinda, Sofia Connor had nine kills as Seabury (2-0) swept past Haleakala Waldorf (2-4) 25-4, 25-11, 25-15.
Harmony Powers served up six aces and Bella Palmer had 17 assists and seven digs for the Spartans.
Lynzee Borchers had three kills, seven digs and two aces to lead the Hawks. Talei Laury-Schaefer chipped in three kills and an ace.
In Hana, Molokai upped its record to 3-0 by outlasting the Dragons in five, 25-21, 13-25, 25-18, 22-25, 15-10.
Statistics for the Farmers were not provided.
Hana (2-3) got a team-high 13 kills along with 11 assists from Arianna Helekahi. Kawelo Roback added 10 kills and two aces, Koali-Kay Kimokeo-Helekahi had 15 assists, seven aces and four kills, Asa-Praise Kalalau posted seven aces and three kills, Iolana Kaupe recorded four aces and two blocks, and Talimai Moeai had three kills and three aces.
