Middle School Mixed Doubles Tennis Tourney

The Middle School Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament will be held on Sept. 16 at the City Park tennis courts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We could be finished earlier. There is no entry fee. Sign up with your coach by or before Sept. 13. It is co-sponsored by Wood County Schools and the Mid-Ohio Valley Tennis Association (MOVTA).

All players are to wear their uniforms. You will need to be there by 9:45 to warm up and check in. Lunch will be provided for all players. You need to bring your own drinks for the matches. We hope to provide each player with at least two matches. It is always fun to play with players from other teams. The tournament is divided into two divisions to make it more even for each player. The players will be representing countries where the major Grand Slam Tennis Tournaments are held. They are France, England, Australia, and the United States. The winners will be rewarded prizes in their divisions. There will be other prizes given out, too.
